Funeral & Celebration of Life

Bespoke, personalised ceremonies which focus on the life of the person

As a professional celebrant, I understand the importance of creating a personalised ceremony that truly reflects the life and personality of your loved one. Whether it's a cremation, burial, or ash ceremony, I take the time to listen to your wishes and incorporate them into a heartfelt and meaningful tribute. Let me help you honour your loved one in a way that feels authentic and true to their spirit.

Above the Clouds

Celebrant-led funeral ceremony

A true celebration of life

I will take time to learn about your loved one: I'll let you talk and listen carefully, taking notes and checking I understand what you're telling me. From there, I'll go away to create a beautiful and fitting service; including a hand-written eulogy or, as I like to call it, the 'Story of Life', music plan and readings & poems and work with your Funeral Director to ensure every moment of this difficult day will run smoothly.

On the Day

Perfectly Planned

On the day, I'll be working with your Funeral Director and the Attendant of the place of burial. You may choose to have the full service at the venue, or you may prefer to have a brief service and then an outdoor ceremony somewhere that was a favourite place of your loved one such as a lake, allotment or sports ground. Tell me how you want the day to go and we'll work it out together.

Your Ceremony,
Your Way

Respectful and Memorable

One of my closest friends attended the funeral of a young friend and told me that the whole experience was made even worse by the insensitivity of the ceremony leader. This had a profound effect on me and has shaped my thinking on how ceremonies should be led

Some recent feedback on my personality, delivery style and hand written ceremonies:

"Everyone said what a fantastic job you did yesterday at my dad's funeral. You wrote a eulogy that got him spot on - it was fab and made me laugh - and you read it with passion. You did an amazing job and we can't thank you enough." - Ms. Pennie Carter

It was a perfect service and everyone who attended felt it captured his true essence and was exactly what he would have wanted.

Testimonials

Just wanted to send a huge thank you for looking after us yesterday, we had lots of lovely comments about the wonderful service.
It was delivered with much love, humour and compassion and we couldn’t have asked for a more fitting celebration of our dad's life.
