Funeral & Celebration of Life
Bespoke ceremonies, handcrafted with compassion
As an independent funeral celebrant based near Reading, I create personalised funerals and celebrations of life across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and the surrounding areas. Each Story of Life is hand-written, deeply personal and thoughtfully delivered — your loved one’s story, told with warmth, respect and honour.

Celebrant-led funeral ceremony
A true celebration of life
I’ll take time to listen – carefully hearing your stories – then craft a hand-written eulogy, or what I call the 'Story of Life'. Together with your chosen music, readings and special touches, the ceremony becomes a reflection of your person, not just the day of their passing.
As an independent celebrant, I work closely with Funeral Directors to make sure everything runs smoothly – timings, music cues, photo tributes – so you can focus on remembering, not logistics.

On the Day
Perfectly Planned, beautifully delivered
I partner with your Funeral Director, conductor, arranger, and chapel team to ensure a seamless and dignified experience. Families often tell me the day felt calm and held, even when emotions rippled high.
Whether you’re planning a traditional service or a ceremony in nature - be it a lakeside farewell, woodland send-off, or meaningful outdoor tribute - I’ll help bring it to life with care.

Your Ceremony,
Your Way
Respectful, memorable
and real
Every life is unique, and so should be the ceremony. I honour traditions and intimacy while weaving in gentle humour or lighthearted memories if it feels fitting. Creating my celebrant-led funerals, I’ve lost count of the times people have told me the ceremony felt exactly like their loved one - and that will always be the most meaningful compliment.

Why choose a Celebrant?
A celebrant-led funeral gives you freedom, flexibility and real personalisation. It’s not a template service or a one-size-fits-all script – it’s written just for your loved one, by someone who has listened carefully to their story and to yours.
A few things to consider...
-
Completely personal – every ceremony is bespoke, handwritten, and focused on your loved one’s life, not a set formula
-
Flexible in style – religious, spiritual, non-religious, or a warm blend if that feels right for the family
-
Choice of setting – whether at a crematorium, burial ground, or a place special to your person
-
Space for personality – stories, humour, music, rituals and tributes that reflect them honestly
-
Support for you – I guide you through the process with empathy, warmth and calm organisation, working alongside your Funeral Director and the chapel teams
Families often say it feels less like a service, more like a celebration that truly belongs to their loved one – and that’s exactly the point

It was a perfect service and everyone who attended felt it captured his true essence and was exactly what he would have wanted.

Thank you so much, you were so supportive to me beforehand and on the day. I couldn’t have done it with out you stood there, I couldn’t have wished for a better lady to give my dear dad his final send off. You truly are an amazing person whom goes above and beyond her job thank you so much xx
