Your wedding ceremony, your way

Bespoke, hand-written, and all about your love

The beauty of my Celebrant-led ceremonies is that they are a truly personal reflection of the two of you as a couple, saying what you feel to each other - rather than words you are told to say - and in a venue and at a time of your choice.

When we work together...

...I’ll be creative, relaxed and utterly in love with your love, so, by the time we get to the big day, you’ll see me as a professional friend officiating your wedding – not a stranger appointed on the day - enabling you both to relax, enjoy and absorb your wedding ceremony.

Mini Ceremonies within your wedding service

Handwritten, bespoke, imaginative and delightful

I can craft for you a mini ceremony after I learn about your background, cultural or religious influences, important people in your lives and what you'd really enjoy having included (by the way, wedding photographers l-o-v-e them!)
We can do whatever you like, but a few examples are: Sand Ceremony, Handfasting, Cocktail Mixing Ritual, Secret Letter Exchange....the list is endless!
Below is an example of a Candle Lighting Ceremony.

It was very important to this couple to include family members into the this service, and so both of their mums and their baby got involved in their special day, too

Want to get the most out of your wedding budget?

Celebrant-led weddings can be held anywhere - not just a venue with a wedding licence!

01

Demand outstrips supply

Not all venues suitable for weddings have a marriage licence as it's a complicated and costly process.

Celebrant-led weddings don't need a licence

03

Wedding Wish List

Get more off the 'wish list' and onto the 'it's happening list' with the money you could save by thinking beyond licenced venues

02

Strict laws for Registrars

Registrars work regulated hours and are tight on time. Also, there are strict laws about food & drink, as well as religious or spiritual references in the presence of a registrar

04

Added advantages

As well as potential budget savings, celebrant-led weddings can be held anywhere, at any time with the complete freedom to make the ceremony utterly unique

Claire Vickery -
Professional, independent celebrant

I offer a free consultation, either in person if you’re local or via a video call if it’s more convenient, so that you can get to meet with me and ask questions before making any decisions. After our meeting I’ll follow up with a proposal and summary of what we have discussed. I will then hold your date for 7 days from the date of our meeting. I’ll pop you a reminder 24 hours before this expires and if I don’t hear back then, I’ll simply release the date.

Thanks for submitting!
